$25,000 cash will be awarded to 4 student companies during the live final round on April 19, 2013

The 2nd Annual Venture Challenge will showcase LSU’s brightest student entrepreneurs and provide their businesses with access to the capital and resources needed to achieve long-term success.
The Venture Challenge is looking to support new, independent ventures in the early growth stage. The startup venture must be a current member of the LSU Student Incubator
. All LSU students are encouraged to become a member of the Student Incubator. Click here to apply!
Any startup venture that fits these requirements, including non-profits, can enter. LSU Student Incubator Members
must present all final round plans.

2. Submit Your Business Plan
All business plans must be submitted on the Pitchburner platform
by March 15, 2013. Plans can be continually updated until the deadline is reached.
3. Present Your Idea
The top 4 scoring plans will advance to the final live round of the Venture Challenge, which will take place on April 19, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. If selected, you will give a 10-minute presentation to both the panel of judges and a live audience followed by a 10-minute question and answer session from the panel of judges. In both rounds, the panel of judges will be made up of members of LSU and local business communities.
